Chosen Answer:
Ultram is a mild pain medication that can cause some drowsiness. Vicodin is a narcotic and a heavier pain medication that is somewhat stronger than Ultram. Vicodin can be addicting if taken too long so be careful. Vicodin also comes in many different doses so be careful because in the beginning it really makes you tired and things may be fuzzy. If you decide to take the Vicodin make sure you take the time to see what kind of affect it takes on you.

vicodin for extreme pain, highly addictive!!!!
ultrma for mild to moderate pain, not that addictive!!!
Ultram is time released & Vicodin isn’t.
Vicodin (hydrocodone/Lortab) is a narcotic and ultram/tramadol is not. Vicodin also has acetaminophen in it, so don’t take Tylenol or any other meds containing acetaminophen while taking Vicodin. Vicodin should be used for a short time cause you can become VERY addicted to it.
I was on hydrocodone for a year and I almost lost my mind when they changed my medicine.
