I get sick when I take real Opiates.

Ultram is completely non-narcotic. In some people, Ultram or Tramadol works very much like a narcotic, even in so much as causing drowsiness and every other side effect that a narcotic usually brings with it.
Then, in others, Ultram has no pain relieving qualities.
